What types of files can I send?

We accept JPEG, TIFF, PSD, PNG, and PDF files.
Preferred formats are JPEG and TIFF with Adobe RGB 1998 as the assigned profile.


Do I get a discount on large orders?

For orders of 6 or more copies of the same prints, please contact our customer service department for a quote. cs@photomediadecor.com


Am I able to come in and pick up my print?

Yes! If you would like to come into our showroom and pick up your order, please feel free to do so. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. We are located at 2057 Victoria Street North in Breslau.  Our customer service department will contact you once your order is ready to be picked up.


How long will my order take to be completed?

Orders for all Fine Art Prints will be filled between 3-4 business after approval. All other orders take between 7-10 business days to be filled. If you require rush service, please contact customer service at (519)648-2234 and we will do our best to accommodate your deadlines. Please note we do charge a fee for rush orders.


I would like my image to be printed in black and white, can you do that?

We offer four artistic effects for you to choose from; black and white, sepia, painted and watercolour.


Will I get a proof before you print my picture?

We will email a PDF proof (free of charge) if requested when you place your order. If you would like a hard proof, a $25.00 charge applies.




How will my final product be shipped?

PMD will package your product to ensure the best possible protection during shipping. We use Canada Post for our flat rate shipping, and UPS for our standard and air shipping options.


What happens if my print is damaged during shipping?

If your print has been damaged during the shipping process, we ask that you document the damage by taking photographs of the damage.  Please email our customer service department (cs@photomedidecor.com) with your order information, a description of the damage, and the photographs. We ask that you do not discard the damaged print as we may ask that the item be returned to us. If we ask for the damaged print to be returned, we will make arrangements for it to be shipped back to us at no expense to you. We will reprint your print and have the replacement shipped out as soon as possible.




What is the difference your paper textures?

Glossy gives a very high light reflection rate.  This often gives a great result with very dense colours.  Some preferred photo content for glossy would be nature shots that include water or sky’s.

Semi-Matt paper gives a very slight sheen when reflecting light. The paper absorbs more ink, giving a slightly more muted tone to your photo.

Premium Lustre paper is our standard photo paper.  Lustre finishes give a slight pebbled finish which reflects light evenly and gives the most natural look to a photograph.

Enhanced matt gives you that extra flat look to your photo.  Though the paper absorbs a lot of the ink, high density photos produce well on this paper as these colours pop off the white point very well.

Cold press bright is one of our two textured papers.  With an extremly cool white point you get light, non saturated colour tone that has great contrast.

Hot press bright has a very similar texture to cold press bright with a warmer white point this material gives you great colour and contrast while also giving you the same benefits of enhanced matte with saturating the deep colour tones.


What color formats are supported by your site?

Our digital pre-press system supports RGB for producing digital prints; we use Adobe RGB 1998 as our default printing profile.  This gets trasnfered to a CMYK+4 (8 total) colour environment for output.

We regularily profile our monitors and printer profiles to keep our colour gamuts as wide as possible, giving you the best possible colour match available.


What is the resolution of output file?

Please submit files at 150dpi.  We output the final graphic at 2400dpi equivalent.


What printing method do you use?

We print in an CMYK+4 (8 total) colour digital environment with archival aqueous inks.  This method allows us to print on a wide variety of materials and a very large colour gamut, allowing us to meet all of your artistic reproduction needs.




What types of payment do you accept?

Online orders can be paid for by Visa, MasterCard and PayPal.  Payment in-store can be made by Visa, MaterCard, cheque or cash.
